Information we collect
Information you provide
When you use LayoverGuard, you may provide information such as flight numbers, travel dates, baggage mode, and your email address if you join a waitlist or contact us.
We do not currently offer user accounts.
Quote and preview information
When you request a quote or preview, we may store information related to that request, including flight details you entered, route and connection information, baggage mode, quote result, eligibility result, price or payout preview if shown, timestamps, public or preview token, and technical logs related to the request.
Some preview links may contain or reveal route, flight, and connection information to anyone who has access to the link. Preview links are intended for temporary use and are currently valid for up to 7 days.

We may automatically collect technical information when you use the website, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, logs, and diagnostic information.

We use the information we collect to:
- provide quote and layover preview functionality;
- calculate eligibility, pricing, route, and connection details;
- retrieve flight schedule information;
- operate, secure, and maintain the website;
- prevent abuse, fraud, and misuse;

Cookies and similar technologies
LayoverGuard may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for website functionality, security, abuse prevention, analytics, performance measurement, and remembering basic choices.
Google Analytics may set analytics cookies, such as _ga or related cookies. These analytics cookies are not required for the website to function.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required by law, we ask for consent before using non-essential analytics cookies.

We may add or replace flight-data providers in the future as the product develops.
